The SAM Committee will give grants to graduate students (GS), undergraduate students (US), and students next to graduate or just graduated (FG) for all those that present a contribution to the Congress.
These grants will cover travel expenses made by car train or bus within the country.
IMPORTANT DATES
Applications opening: June 22, 2016.
Applications closure: July 22, 2016.
Acceptance notification: September 21, 2016.
Grants payments: November 25, 2016 (last day of the congress)

EVALUATION
Priority will be given (even though non-exclusive) in the following cases:
Graduate students (GS)

Applicants with full work presented.

The applicant is the expositor of the work.

The applicant is in his/her first two years of his/her PhD studies.
The applicant is in his/her first year of his/her Master Degree studies.
Undergraduate students (US), and students close to graduation or just graduated (FG)

Applicants with full work presented.
Any academic or research precedent detailed in the CV will be taken into consideration by the Evaluation Committee.
CANCELLATION CAUSES
(until payday)
– Absence in SAM-CONAMET 2016.
– Unpaid registration.
– No presenting on time the travelling tickets.
– No presenting work in the congress.

Certificate that proves GS is studying a postgraduate career.

Endorsement letter, according to the attached model, from the director of thesis or the research group,

CV in a pdf file, the file name will have the "SurnameName-CV" format.

If it is foreign student, and member of any society of Materials, a document or record that accredits it. For SAM members this document or record it's not necessary.
Undergraduate students (US), and students close to graduation or just graduated (FG)

Certificate of regular student for undergraduate or evidence of completion of study for recent graduates.

Academic record that states your GPA.

Copy of the ID.

CV in a pdf file, the file name will have the "SurnameName-CV" format.

Endorsement letter from the director, according to the attached model.

If the director is a foreigner, and member of any society of Materials, must present a document or record that accredits it. For SAM members this document or record it's not necessary.
DOCUMENTATION TO BE SENT
The form and all the documents must be scanned, compressed and compiled into a single file named “SurnameName.rar” and send by mail to becas.samconamet2016@gmail.com putting as subject “Type of Grant (PG)(EG)(FG)-Surname-Name”.
